Misjuns/Mader - IN F-SHARP
The work on the piece started as a collaboration with Andreas Mader, to whom the piece is dedicated to. Andreas co-composed the patches and sounds played in the performance - all sounds used in the electronics are sourced directly from the live-recorded material. Our main technique was to use measured rhythmic delay, which, at times, build up in several layers, creates a rich chorus where the playable part is undistinguishable from the electronics, and we are found in a mesh of electronically altered saxophones.
